PLATO® Web Learning Network (PWLN)
When PLATO® Web Learning Network (PWLN®) first launched in 2000, it made possible on-demand delivery of PLATO Learning curriculum delivered via the Internet; it gave educators unprecedented access to high-quality, technology-based PLATO Learning instructional content—pre-aligned to individual district and state requirements, as well as post-secondary national test requirements, and ready for immediate access by students.
Designed and built to support school, district, and post-secondary institution implementations, PWLN allows seamless sharing of PLATO Learning resources across a number of classrooms, school/campus buildings and programs, and students’ homes to maximize schools’, districts’, and colleges' software investments. In addition, PWLN links directly with PLATO® K–12 Assessment and PLATO® Simulated Test Systems to offer comprehensive skills diagnostics, assessment, instruction, and reporting services to address educators’ increasing demands for accountability.
